Hey there,
I’m Alex. I don’t know how much you know about me already or if you’ve been following me for a while or not at all. Maybe we have chatted on Instagram already, but I wanted to say hi and introduce myself 👋🏻
A bit about myself. I’m originally from Denmark but have been travelling since the end of 2021. I used to work as an IT Consultant in Denmark and honestly loved my job until the Pandemic struck and I lost my joy for it as my longing for travelling took over—more on that in a later blogpost.
I used to do photography as a hobby to “allow” myself to travel alone, as my friends either couldn’t afford it or didn’t want to, back when I was working a lot. It allowed me to see the world again and look for new perspectives. It may sound cliche or even a bit dumb maybe, but that’s how I felt. Mid-2022 I shifted my focus towards videography where my passion for storytelling could genuinely come to life.
However, I didn’t feel like I was ready to charge money for my work with video as I couldn’t figure out how to expose properly and all the settings just seemed difficult compared to photography, although they, in my mind, should be similar or almost the same.
I’ll tell you a lot more about all of the above later in other blogposts, this was just a little teaser of what’s to come if you decide to stick around and read along.
