The standard DJI D-Gamut to Rec.709 Conversion is most often a bit harsh on your footage, making it too contrasted and especially the greens tends to look very artificial.

This LUT makes Color Grading your drone footage extremely simple and fast.

It's NOT a fancy hollywood LUT but takes your footage from the flat DLOG look to Rec.709, adds contrast, balances saturation and helps correct those green hues.

All YOU have to do is adjust the White Balance and Exposure.

This tutorial in based on the SLOG3 Signature LUT but they work the exact same way.

Hi, I'm Alex.

Back in 2021 I made the switch from Photography to Videography.

I was pretty good at Photo-Editing in Lightroom and getting vibrant colours with good contrast.

I thought the transition to Videography would be easy. I already know how a camera worked, right?

I was wrong.

However, I was determined to make it as a full-time creative, travelling the world.

While it still sounded delusional as I hadn't made any money in 6 months, I had been convinced by a more successful creator that videography was the path to go.

So, I ended up spending the next year diving deep into Colour Grading, understanding it in-depth to the point where it's become second nature - almost 2 years later.


After focusing on Color Grading for 2 years and creating and selling more than 50 LUTs in various LUT Packs, I decided to start focusing on storytelling.

I wanted to take my focus and time away from Color Grading for a bit and that's why I created this LUT to instantly make my footage look great.

I'm not looking to make it crazy cinematic but simply have a great look to it.
